Australia Ryugaku Net (ARN) was first established in Sydney as a company specializing in using the Internet to assist Japanese students wishing to study in Australia. ARN joined Ryugaku Journal group of companies in August 2003. At that time, it opened its offices as a friendly "lounge" type atmosphere and began offering student support and one-to-one counseling.
The average number of visitors to ARN's website is about 600 per day and 220,000 yearly. Most study abroad agencies target language schools, however, Australia Ryugaku Net has contracts with a large number of Australian tertiary institutions.
